  • Q: I just got approved, what's next?

    A: Go live as consistently and as long as possible to build your network, get familiar with the app, network with other hosts, participate in as many events as possible, set increasing monthly beans goals to earn the desired salary you want to earn!   • Q: When is my first month of contract?

    A: If you auditioned BEFORE the 15th of this month, this is your 1st month of the contract. If you auditioned AFTER the 16th of this month, your contract starts the 1st day of the following month.

    Note: If you auditioned after the 16th of the month and achieve any of the beans goals 40k+ by the end of the same month, you will receive the corresponding salary -this is considered a ‘bonus month’. And then the 1st day of the following month will still be your first month with the full new host benefits.

  • Q: What is the time zone used by the system to log hours?

    A: Billable hours will be calculated in calendar month (from the 1st until the last day of the month) Pacific Time Zone (PST)

  • Q: Amount of time required by the system for the time to count?

    A: 30 minutes minimum, and 2 hours maximum of broadcasting hours will count per day.

  • Q: What's the time cut off?

    A: 11:59pm PST

  • Q: How do I keep track of my hours and accumulated beans?

    A: You are able to see a Live Data with detailed reports of your hours, beans and fans in your wallet. Go to your app> home> live data. Live data may take up to 48hrs to update.

  • Q: How does gifting work?

    A: Users purchase diamonds on the platform and they send it to the hosts when they're live-streaming in the form of gifts. The hosts receive those gifts in the form of beans. Beans conversion rate is 210 beans = $1. The beans received can be found on the wallet and can be cashed out directly to the host's bank account by setting up and connecting the account.

  • Q: How does payment/salary work?

    A: When a host achieves successfully any of the monthly tiers requirements from the assigned salary chart, the host will receive a salary besides the gifts. **Example:** if a host completes ranking S1 (32 hours + 130K beans), the host will receive a salary of $1,120 + the $620 made in gifts.

  • Q: How is the salary paid?

    A: When the hosts successfully achieve any of the tiers from the salary chart, they will receive the corresponding salary via beans directly from Bigo before the 10th of the following month.

  • Q: How can I set-up my BIGO Live for gaming streams on my PC, Console or Mobile device?
